Director’s Welcome
When Medical Aid Films began, it was with a single, urgent story: a newborn’s life lost in a refugee camp because a cord was cut with a dirty knife. That story sparked a vision that film, when grounded in medical evidence and community experience, can save lives.
Today, we are a global team of public health experts, filmmakers, and creative storytellers. We work with ministries, NGOs, and frontline workers to create films that don’t just educate they shift behaviour, strengthen health systems, and empower communities.
Our films are used in over 180 countries in clinics, classrooms, and communities reaching millions of people who may never otherwise have access to health information. But we’re not stopping there.
As we move forward, we’re expanding into new technologies, new regions, and new formats always staying true to our belief that stories, when made with purpose, can transform health outcomes.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
A world where every woman, every child, and every community has access to the knowledge they need to live a healthy life — no matter where they are.
Our Theory of Change
At Medical Aid Films, we believe that knowledge saves lives — and that film is one of the most effective, scalable, and accessible tools to share it.
If health workers and communities can access accurate, culturally relevant, and engaging health films,
Then they will be better equipped to deliver care, make informed choices, and adopt healthier behaviours,
Which leads to improved health outcomes, reduced preventable deaths, and stronger, more equitable health systems.

Our Values
Purpose with Impact
We are driven by the belief that film can save lives. Every story we tell, every partnership we form, and every decision we make is guided by our mission to improve health outcomes for women, children, and communities globally.
Partnership at the Core
We never work alone. We collaborate with local organisations, Ministries of Health, global NGOs, and healthcare workers — ensuring every film is grounded in real-world insight and co-created with the people it’s designed to serve.
